• Brian Dawkins says Tim Tebow “laid hands” on him to help heal injured neck

  This is neither a condemnation of Tim Tebow’s religious leanings, nor is it an attempt to mock the new Jets quarterback’s beliefs.  It is, however, a story involving Tim Tebow and his former Broncos teammate Brian Dawkins, and as any good blogger will attest, Tim Tebow is almost as good as Kate Upton when it comes to pageviews.

  In an interview with Alex Marvez and Jim Miller on Sirius XM NFL Radio, Dawkins, the 38-year-old free agent safety, recalled a time during a team bible study session when the devoutly Christian Tebow and Denver director of player development Jerry Butler tried using their spiritual power to heal Dawkins’ ailing neck.  Dawkins was a teammate of Tebow’s the last two seasons.   Next Media Animation (NMA.tv) has nailed the Broncos-Jets trade involving Tim Tebow, like they usually do when a big sports news story breaks.  Sure, Jay Glazer, Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter may break the actual stories in the NFL, but NMA takes the details of said stories to a higher, weirder, and more wildly entertaining level.

  For the record, I always suspected that the second level of hell is directly underneath the streets of New York.  The first level of hell is obviously Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets.

• Broncos fan would rather be dead than see team sign Peyton Manning, so says his obit

  Jim Driver, a lifelong Broncos fan, died this past Monday, the same day that his beloved team signed prized free agent QB Peyton Manning.  The move was lauded by most football pundits, but according to Driver’s obituary, he’d rather be dead than see Denver sign Manning.

• Broncos QB Tim Tebow reportedly ‘smitten’ with Glee actress Dianna Agron

  Can’t say that I blame him…she is quite fetching.

  According to the NY Post’s Page 6, Tim Tebow has the hots for Dianna Agron, one of the stars of Fox’s hit show Glee.  While I’m not surprised at his choice in ladies (Agron is 25 and hails from Savannah, Georgia), I am shocked that Tebow would watch Glee, what with its singing, dancing, thrusting,  promiscuity, and unwed teenage pregnancy.  Unfortunately for Tebow the lovely Agron is currently dating actor Sebastian Stan (Ed. note: ???), who I’m sure is a fine fellow in his own right, but if I’m laying money on this, I’m backing Tebow all the way.  He has good looks, muscles, fame, and God on his side. • This Touchback in the Broncos-Steelers Game Put the Wild in Wild Card Weekend

  Only slightly less amazing than the Broncos upsetting the Steelers in their AFC Wild Card matchup on Sunday was the opening kickoff to the game itself.  Trust me when I say that you’ve never seen a touchback like this.

  Denver K Matt Prater boots the ball to a waiting Antonio Brown, but Prater’s huge leg causes the kickoff to nail the crossbar cleanly before rolling out and resting… at the 20-yard line.  It’s like the football (or a higher power maybe?) was saying to the refs, “Here, let me get that for ya fellas.”

• Sorority Girl Asking Tim Tebow to be Her Date to the Formal Just Oozes Cuteness

  It’s become quite vogue to post a video on YouTube asking a celebrity to accompany you to an event, and what’s even weirder is that it works a lot more than it should.  Enter Brittany Salvesen, member of the Christian sorority Sigma Phi Lamda  at Midwestern State University (Texas), who has gone and done what many have before her by asking Broncos starting QB Tim Tebow to be her date for sorority’s upcoming formal.

  The whole thing reeks of cuteness, from Brittany herself, the underlying nervousness in her otherwise calm demeanor, right down to the way she and her sisters giggle when she forgets to actually ask Tebow to the formal.  It’s so charming and sweet that multiple viewings might give you diabetes.
