How tough is Logan Mankins? He played through Super Bowl XLVI with torn ACL
Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston is reporting that Patriots All-Pro left guard Logan Mankins underwent surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the weeks following New England’s loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. While that may not be big news in itself, it is pretty remarkable when you hear that Mankins tore that ACL early into the contest…and played the entire game despite the injury.
